La Tornalta is a very friendly restaurant in the centre of the village of Samoëns. The restaurant is open throughout the season and serves a wide range of food varying from a 'light snack' to a full-blown meal that could last all evening. The setting is very traditional and our favourite table (if we cannot sit outside) is the small 'monks-hole' which is a small private area just large enough for two people - very private!

The food is typical of the region and the 'Tartiflette' is wonderful (it comes with a green salad and ham) - it is very filling and very tasty. Service is very attentive and the range of beer/wine is also good. There are a lot of 'local' people use this restaurant - always a good sign!

We think that you will probably eat there more than once if you give it a try!
