New Snow on high mountain slopes

23 September, as I look out over onto the slopes opposite the chalet everyday the snow line is getting lower, what a very good omen for a good ski season.

Blue Skies and 25cm of fresh snow

This morning we awoke to blue skies, sparkling white mountains and snow laden trees. Over the last three days we have had between 25 and 30 cm of snow fall on the slopes of Sainte Foy. This new snow tops up what has been some of the best condition snow in the Tarentaise. It has refreshed our pistes and the off-piste today will be superb.
