La Rosiere Skiing - Experts
La Rosiere isn't well-known for attracting more advanced skiers, but the locals like it this way! La Thuile offers some challenging skiing both on and off piste and also some excellent tree skiing. La Rosiere also offers a monitored and 'safe' free-ride/off-piste area. La Rosiere is the only French resort from which Heli-skiing is directly accessible, starting on the border with Italy, dropping you on the nearby glaciers and allowing you to ski back to La Rosiere.
La Rosiere Skiing - Intermediates
Intermediates will love this resort; lots of cruisey red runs will keep you busy all week. Better intermediates may find some of the runs too easy but runs over in La Thuile are more challenging and 60% of the total area is graded for intermediates or advanced, so you are sure to find ample variation for your week in the snow.
La Rosiere Skiing - Beginners
Paradise at last! A resort that offers sunny days with good snow reliability and some nice greens and gentle blues to start you off. The kids won't moan about the cold and the nursery slopes are in the village! You will quickly progress to the green and blues that cover the mountain and there are several nice and gentle slopes running back into La Rosiere.
