La Plagne continues to have good snow conditions

There was 24cm of new snow Tuesday/Wednesday right down the valley to Aime so it all looks lovely now and very cold -7 here and -15 at La Plagne - so good news. And at least La Plagne Montalbert will look better on the webcam now. However I was out skiing for the first time last Friday and it was great. On Roche de Mio there was new snow and it was the best I ever skied it as there was hardly anyone around...
Currently snow conditions are very good with clear blue skies. Galcier de Bellecote 3000m has 130cm of snow, Roche de Mio 2700m has 105cm of snow and Plagne Centre 80cm of snow. So La Plagne continues to have a very good snow record.

Fresh snow and low temperatures

Over the past few days 80 cm of new snow has been reported at La Plagne 2000m, 90cm at Rche Di Mio 2700m and 100cm of powder snow on Glacier de Bellecote 3000m. It has snowed into all the valleys with over 20cm of new snow outside the chalet so with the clear skies today the views are stunning. More snow reported for tomorrow..

Fresh snow report 07/12/06

Snow report yesterday was 25cm powder snow at La Plagne, 35cm on Roche de Mio and 60 cm on the Glacier de Bellecote. There was a dusting of snow at Montalbert Station. Apparantly this is the normal average for this time of year. The temperature was -4.5 so all snow making facilities were in operation and expected to be in action for the next week due to a fall in temperatures. All La Plagne Resorts are expected to open on time and there may be some more snow today and Saturday with more snow predicted on 20/12/06.
