Fete de la Glisee 2006, Avoriaz

Avoriaz is hosting the Fete de la Glisse during the weekend of the 16th - 17th December, 2006.

Many of the major ski and snowboarding brands will be there and be providing ski and snowboarding equiptment for you to take out onto the mountain to test. The season is set to begin in party mode with a number of local restaurants and bars providing entertainment for the evening after the events during the day.

Off Piste Clinic - Avoriaz

Off Piste Clinic Avoriaz

The Avoriaz Alpine Ski School is involved in hosting the Off Piste Clinic in two sessions at the end of January 2007.

This introduction to off piste is made up of 3 sessions of 3 hours each and groups will be kept to sizes of between 4 and 8 people. The cost is just £120 per person.

The course is targeted at proficient skiers with a desire to head off piste and your level of ability should be summarised as 'some off piste experience and happy on black runs'.

Your instructor is fully qualified and insured to take you off piste and full training and safety equipment is provided as part of the course.

Prepare yourself for off piste wilderness and beautiful untracked snow. Video footage will be taken during the day with a chance to view it during the evening.
