At the foot of Mont Blanc you will find the wonderful ?Chalet La Moraine?. This luxurious Chalet Sleeps up to 10 guests in five twin/double bedrooms all with either ensuite or private bathroom (all have lovely large baths and integrated shower).

Following a complete renovation in 2006, the traditional exterior of the chalet has been maintained but hides a contemporary & chic interior. The large glass fronted lounge offers spectacular views of the peaks and glaciers of Mont Blanc and the surrounding Massif.

The location of the chalet, together with the unrivalled views of Mont Blanc give the Chalet a feeling of peace and tranquillity. Relaxation is easy, and the huge deck has a magnificent outdoor Jacuzzi to help you recover from a challenging day on the slopes, alternatively, you can head straight to the large Sauna.

The large and stylish open plan living and dining area is ideal for relaxation, the sumptuous leather sofa is large enough to stretch out on and watch the giant Sony plasma TV with Sky package including movies or a DVD from our large collection of titles. A stunning glass sided wood burning stove completes the facilities in the lounge.

In the dining area, the specially commissioned oak dining table comfortably seats 10 guests. From here you can walk out through the large French doors onto the grand balcony that offers more of those stunning views, perfect for pre or post dinner drinks.

The impressive Italian kitchen is open plan and fully equipped with 2 Siemens hobs and Ovens, a dishwasher supplied by Siemens and 2 Microwaves. There is also a large American Fridge freezer with ice maker.

The comfortable bedrooms all have great views, built in wardrobes and their own TV (with free view) with individual TV channel selection DVDs and CD players. The 5 bedrooms all have 2 beds in each room, all the mattresses are pocket sprung to help ensure an excellent nights sleep and the handmade beds can be made up as either superking doubles or singles as required prior to your arrival .

The 3 ground floor bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms, while the two quirkier triangular windowed loft bedrooms have private bathrooms opposite the bedrooms.

There is a wireless broadband network for the chalet.

There is a large private parking area below the chalet, and a Chamonix Ski Bus pick up point within 400 metres.

Facilities

Bedrooms: 5 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, these can be made up entirely to requirement as either superking doubles or twins. The beds are handmade and the mattresses pocket sprung to ensure a good nights sleep. Robes and slippers are also provided for your comfort during your stay.

Bathrooms: 3 are ensuite bathrooms, the other 2 are private. All bathrooms have lovely large baths to soak in with, the 3 ensuites have integrated showers.

Kitchen: The impressive designer kitchen is fully equipped with 2 Siemens ovens and hobs, a Siemens dish washer which is really quiet, 2 microwaves and a coffee maker.

TV & DVDs: All bedrooms have free view TVs, DVDs and CDs. The large Sony TV in the lounge has Sky satellite package including movies. There is also a DVD player and we have a good range of titles to choose from

Sauna: The sauna has a walk in shower opposite.

Family Friendly: The Chalet has 3 travel cots, 2 high chairs and a baby bath for guests use. Our Local Representative can also arrange services such as babysitting during your stay.

Location

The Chalet is situated in Taconnaz which is between Chamonix town centre and Les Houches, with amazing views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding massif.

As you are probably aware, the Chamonix valley has amazing skiing and the Chalet is ideally placed to make the most of all the main ski areas in the valley. For this reason, visitors to Chamonix are strongly recommended to have a car to fully explore the fabulous and varied skiing on offer.

Chalet La Moraine is closest to Les Houches (a few minutes drive away) which hosts the famous Kandahar Mens's Alpine World Cup race. It's also only a short drive from the Chalet to the ski lifts in the rest of the Chamonix valley.

Courmayeur in Italy is also easily accessible through the Mont Blanc tunnel.
