Owners Description
Chalet la Sache is a stunning catered chalet in the beautiful Chamonix valley. The chalet is south facing just a few minutes from the historic town of Chamonix. The chalet has all the modern amenities you would expect from a luxury chalet with plenty of home comforts to make your stay just that bit more special.
We offer a fully catered service both summer and winter with fantastic meals and superb wines. As part of the the service we will organise all the ski passes, lessons and guides. We will also share our love of the valley with you, allowing you to benefit from our local knowledge gained living here all year round. The chalet is open summer and winter.
Facilities
There are five large double rooms, we really splashed out on the beds and have the special zip and link matresses. This means we can offer either proper double beds which do not slide apart or twin rooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with bath and shower, and an independent boiler so you should never run out of hot water.
The main living space is open plan with living room, dining room and kitchen and our stunning open fire in the middle. The views of the mountains here will leave you stunned. Here is your space to relax after skiing or hiking in the summer and where we will keep you fantastically well fed. We also have a large plasma TV with full UK sky tv package, loads of DVD's, books and games if you fancy a night in the chalet.
Location
Chalet la Sache is our stunning catered chalet in the beautiful Chamonix valley. The chalet is situated south facing just a few minutes walk from the historic town of Chamonix. We are set just far enough above the valley floor to have unbroken views in all directions, particularly towards Mont Blanc. We live at the end of Chemin du Nant Favre, a private road, with the woods to the side of the chalet. If you are lucky you may see some deer in the woods or even in our garden in the spring!
The chalet has been built in a traditional style, thick walls and stone floors but with modern living in mind. So there is underfloor heating to keep your feet warm and stunning double height windows facing the Mont Blanc chain. There is also lots of reclaimed wood used to ensure a really traditional feel.
