Owners Description
Chalet Sol Re was once an old traditional French farmhouse. It has now been thoughtfully renovated into a stunning chalet full of character.
Chalet Sol Re is made up of 10 bedrooms all of which are en-suite and normally sleeps 24 adults (although we can easily hold up to 34 comfortable when there are children in the party).
Many of the rooms in Chalet Sol Re have large private balconies allowing you to soak up the evening sunshine and admire the fantastic views of the surrounding valley. A number of the rooms are also ideal for families wishing to share.
The centrepiece of the main living room is the open log fire which provides the perfect relaxing environment in which to unwind in the evening after an exhausting day on the slopes. Feel free to bring your own CDs if you fancy keeping the TV turned off. Afternoon tea including cake will also be provided.
The dining room of Chalet Sol Re has been modelled around the wine caves of France and provides the ideal setting for enjoying our excellent cuisine and selection of wines.
Facilities
Chalet Sol Re also has an honesty bar, DVD player and satellite TV, broadband wireless internet access as well as a games room with a pool table. New for the coming winter season is an outdoor hot tub.
Location
Chalet Sol Re is located in the small hamlet of Essert La Pierre which is just a five minute ride from Morzine and the ski slopes. It really is the ideal spot for holiday makers seeking a real escape and amazing unspoilt views whilst still benefiting from the convenience of being just a short drive from the restaurants, bars and slopes of Morzine as well as those in Saint Jean d'Aulps.
Skis and boots can be left in the ski shop so there is no need to lug around your gear at the beginning and end of each day.
