We are Mike and Sue Brinsley, and Chalet des Cimes is our home in the Alps. It was built as a traditional Savoyard farmhouse in 1872 and has been completely renovated to give the best of modern living whilst retaining the character of the original building.
We are situated in a small hamlet just below the ski station of Sainte Foy. Get away from the crowds and enjoy the peace and quiet of a genuine French hamlet, whilst having easy access to some of the biggest and best ski resorts in the world. Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs, and La Rosiere are only minutes away in our courtesy minibus. And the lovely resort of Sainte Foy is only just up the road. The choice is yours.
Accommodation
* 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower/wc, handbasin. Specially built beds can be made up as doubles or singles.
* Large living/dining room on top floor, with stunning views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Large picture windows, log fire, comfy sofas, beautiful beamed roof
* Music system (bring your own favourites) and chalet games
* Video player with selection of videos
What's included:
* Breakfast and afternoon tea and cakes every day
* 4-course dinner followed by coffee (except for one evening a week, normally Wednesdays)
* Unlimited wine during dinner
* Use of the hot tub
* Hand towels, bath towels and soap
* Chalet vehicle to transport those without cars to and from the slopes
* Owners (Mike and Sue Brinsley) on hand to accompany you on the slopes, give advice and assistance on where to ski, hire equipment, eat, drink, and make sure you really enjoy your stay
Facilities
The atmospheric living space under the original huge roof beams has a seating area around the fire, a seating area around the TV and the dining area all with stunning views of the valley below and the peaks above.
The hot tub is available to soothe those tired muscles after the day's skiing.
Location
Being just outside the ski resort of Sainte Foy we are ideally located for those who like the flexibility to ski several resorts during their stay. We are minutes from Les Arcs, Tignes, Val d'Isere and La Rosiere. We choose each day which to ski dependant upon weather and the wishes of the group
