The Great Escape offers high quality holidays and events in a classic alpine setting for private groups and corporate clients. Specialising in summer and winter sports & leisure activities, we offer tailored and classic breaks to suit individual requirements.
Our trips are based in the hotel Le Regina, a traditional French hotel which we have recently acquired in the beautifully situated spa town of St Gervais in the French Alps.
For 2005-6 we are offering 15 comfortably furnished double, twin or triple rooms, all with ensuite shower or bathrooms (many with large baths!), luxurious bed linen, fluffy towels and toiletries. Many of our rooms are quite spacious and/or adjoin the next room, making them ideal for family groups.
Our lounge is airy yet cosy with comfortable sofas for lounging and reading after a hard day on the mountain. The café bar is open to residents only or you can après ski in the Regina?s courtyard area under the glow of outdoor heaters if you need a quick pick-me-up before changing for dinner! You just know you'll burn off the calories from those drinks and canapés tomorrow!

Location
St Gervais is superbly situated 50 minutes drive from Geneva airport and just a few miles from Megève and Chamonix. A turn-of-the-century spa town, it offers all the beauty of a small Savoyard market town with its traditional buildings, rich heritage, baroque church and pedestrian areas. Around 100 years old, the Hotel Le Regina is located in the centre of St Gervais and ideally situated for the access to the many bars, shops and restaurants as well as to the ski lift, 6 mins walk away or a free resort ski bus (included within ski pass) that runs every 10 minutes. The nearest bus stop is 20 metres from the hotel.
