Le Mouflon is a charming old chalet in the friendly village of La Rosiere, in the Haute Tarentaise. La Rosiere is set on a south facing ridge with fantastic views of the Tarentaise. It is very snow sure with a season from mid December to late April. The skiing, on the Espace San Bernardo covers over 150 kms of pistes in France and Italy, the proximity to Mont Blanc ensures good snow depths from early in the season right through to May. La Rosiere is very popular with French famillies and is gaining recognition with skiers who want a more authentic mountain experience in a small and friendly mountain community. The lift pass is great value, there are terrific facilities for kids and a choice of ski schools with the bonus of an International ski area, breakfast in France and lunch in Italy perhaps?
Our chalet is warm and comfortable with a sauna and jacuzzi bath to help ease away the aches and pains of a day's skiing or just to relax before enjoying an early evening drink whilst waiting for a superb dinner with free, unlimited wine. we have our own mini-bus and offer free transfers to and from Geneva airport every Sunday through the season.

Facilities

Le Mouflon has 2 large family rooms both with en-suite facilities, there is a large double room and a small twin room. There is a seperate sauna and jacuzzi bath, 2 large showers and a toilet on the same level. Guests can enjoy the spacious sitting room with it's cosy log-fire and comfortable sofas whilst waiting for dinner to be served in the seperate dining room. After dinner relax playing games, watching a DVD or listening to music, kids (and dads) enjoy the Xbox games console. There is ski room with plenty of storage and space for boots and jackets in the entrance hall. The Vieux Village is a quiet area and very safe for children to play, if they have any energy left after day on the slopes.

Location

Le Mouflon is in Le Vieux Village, a quiet area of La Rosiere 300 metres from the village centre and 400 metres form the mian lifts and slopes. The beginners area with 2 free lifts is nearby. The free ski shuttle bus stops 40 metres from the chalet, you can be on the slope within 5 minutes.
