The main focus of the chalet is the wonderfully spacious open plan living area with it's large picture windows which look out onto the fantastic view.

The chalet sleeps up to 14 and offers a variety of accommodation ranging from en-suite doubles and twins to family rooms with bunk beds. Our two pricing structures allow total flexibility and great savings for larger groups.

Smaller groups can pay the 'per person' price and choose a room with en-suite or shared bathroom, while our 'whole chalet' price guarantees sole occupancy for your group and offers great savings for groups of 11 or more.

At Alpine Chalet Holidays great food is as important as great skiing.

Wherever possible we use the freshest produce from local suppliers and to compliment our creative menus we offer the opportunity to sample locally produced cheeses, wines and liqueurs.

Each morning you can start the day with a warm drink served to you in your room before a buffet breakfast with cereals, juices, fresh and dried fruits, yoghurts, freshly cooked breads and croissants and a selection of cheeses and charcuterie, plus your choice of eggs cooked to order.

When you return from skiing in the afternoon, tea will be laid our with freshly baked cakes or you can serve yourself a drink from the 'honesty bar'.

The eveing then begins with an aperitif by the fire before you take your places around our specially decorated table and enjoy a delicious three or four course dinner.

We also include in resort transport to get you to and from the slopes and several days guided skiing to show you around the 650km of pistes in the Portes du Soleil.

Facilities

To keep you entertained we have a TV with satelite, video and DVD and a large selection of films and ski and snowboard videos. There is also a stereo with a variety of CD's for your use and a big box of board games for all ages.

Tea and coffee facilities are available throughout the day and we operate an 'Honesty Bar' system with a selection of Belgian beers, wine and soft drinks.

To save you space in your luggage all rooms are supplied with towels, bathrobes, slippers and toileteries. We have two cots, high chairs and a set of baby alarms available to guests with infants.

There is also a ski and boot store and laundry facilities should you need them.

Location

La Couqueille is our spacious modern chalet located in Le Roitet, a quiet sunny area a short distance from the centre of Chatel with spectacular views over the village and the Abondance valley.
