Pension Haus Maria is a privately run Bed and Breakfast guest house in Ramsau set in the heart of Austrias Dachstein Tauern region.

On offer at this traditional Austrian Chalet is a warm welcome from owners Thelma and Steve, with there local knowledge hope to make your stay in Ramsau a memorable one.

The area is well known to cross country skiers around the world since Ramsau hosted the WM nordic world championships in 1999. It also has a reputation for being a Family Friendly resort with an emphasis on children having fun while they are learning to ski.

Facilities

Ground floor: Breakfast room, can also be used in the evenings for families or groups to meet for board games etc.

First floor: All bed rooms are cosy with ensuite showers, WC, wash basin, satellite TV, electric shaver points, central heating and balconies.

For the winter there is storage for skis and a heated ski boot room.

For the Summer there is lockable storage for cycles and motor bikes.

Outside: At the front of the house there is a sunny Terrase, Garden and parking area.

Location

Haus Maria is Ideally placed to the centre of Ramsau am Dachstein with it's glacier for all year round skiing and the highest peak in the eastern alps. Ramsau is the ideal area for both winter and summer vacations for all the family

The nearest town is Schladming, nestled in the Enns valley.

Getting to Ramsau can be easily done these days with cheap flights from the UK.

From Salzburg it is just over an hours drive by car and by train it is one and a half hours to schladming.

Pickups can be arranged from the airport or train station for a nominal local charge.
