After working for another company in La Rosiere for 2 years, we set up our chalet in 2002. With several years experience in La Rosiere we offer you a wonderfully relaxing holiday in our luxury chalet situated in a breathtakingly beautiful resort.

Chalet Jeode will be your home from home and we welcome you.

Facilities

CHALET JEODE is a wonderful chalet that sleeps upto 13 people in comfort, set near the heart of the village. It enjoys some of the best uninterrupted views out over the Tarentaise valley.

Since buying the chalet we have been refitting and improving it. All the bedrooms are en-suite and finished with a great mix of Italian tiles and wood. We have refurbished the livingroom and dining rooms with a custom made Italian dining table,new sofas and a huge log fire to relax in front of.
There is also a ski room for you fitted out with ski racks and a boot warmer.

Behind the chalet there is a large area where we have our hot-tub. There is nothing better to chase away the aches of the day than a relaxing soak in the hot-tub.
If hot utbs aren't your thing you can enjoy the sun in a deckchair on the balcony. Meanwhile the children can go and play behind the chalet safely away from any traffic, so you can relax and enjoy an apres-ski drink while still keeping an eye on the kids.

Being only a 2 minute walk from the village centre and a 5 minute walk to the slopes (we do provide a lift to the slopes in the morning) we are perfectly placed for a great holiday.

-Iron, ironing board and hairdryers are avaliable on request.
-Wonderful light and airy sitting room finished with new sofas.
-Huge log fire to unwind in front of.
-Use of our outdoor hot-tub
-Stereo, tv, video, dvd and a selection of videos, dvds and board games.
-Large south facing window with a door onto the balcony from which to enjoy the incredible
uninterupted views over the Tarentaise valley.
-Fully equiped ski room to keep equipment and dry out wet gear, with ski racks and boot warmer.

We are a no smoking chalet although you are welcome to smoke on the balcony

FOOD is an integral part of a ski holiday and while staying with us we make sure your food experience is exceptional.

-Breakfast is continental style, with fresh French bread, a selection of cereals and jams, porridge and eggs, tea, coffee and fruit juice. While on two days we will cook up a full English breakfast.
-Afternoon tea will be waiting for you on your return from the slopes every day. Including fresh homemade cake or biscuits, fresh French bread and jams.
-Every evening, except on our day off, you will be served a freshly prepared, wholesome 3-course meal accompanied by complementary wine. The meal is then rounded off with tea or coffee.
-Let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements and these will happily be catered for. We can do an earlier children?s meals if you would prefer.

-Ski hire can be organised for you in advance.
-Ski lessons can be organised for you with your choice of ski school.
-Childcare can be organised locally.
-Explore the Espace San Bernardo ski area with up to 3 days ski hosting.
-We can also help if you would like to book heli-skiing, a high mountain guide, do the Olympic bobsled run in La Plagne, ski the Valley Blanche in Chamonix or visit other resorts locally

Location

At an altitude of 1850m, La Rosiere is one of the highest villages in the French Alps. The village is very traditional and the views of the surrounding valleys and resorts are stunning. It has one of the best snow records in the Alps link that with south facing slopes and you get the perfect combination of snow and sun!

The international area of the Espace San Bernado will provide skiing and snowboarding for beginners through to the more experienced, although intermediate riders are best catered for.
A big draw for the advanced skier and boarder is the opportunity to heli-ski. While still illegal in France, you can heli-ski in Italy. So a quick hop over the border and you are only a helicopter trip from the best ride of your life.

We are ideally situated just a 2 minute walk from the town centre and 5 minutes from the slopes. We provide a lift to the slopes in the morning to ease you into the day.
