Chalet Heidi is a beautiful Tyrolean Chalet in the village of Scheffau. In the winter Scheffau has two gondolas to access SkiWelt - Austria's largest ski resort. In the Summer, Chalet Heidi is at the centre of a beautiful mountain holiday area offering a huge range of summer holiday options. Chalet Heidi offers 3/4 board throughout the winter season, offering guests facilities including a bar, dining room, lounge, fitness room, sauna, ski store with heated boot racks and a TV/games room.

In the summer we offer B&B and activity packages for adventurous holidays makers looking to get more out of the mountains and valleys or simply a beautiful chalet in which to unwind and enjoy the views from the sun terrace.

Chalet Heidi is large and spacious, with all rooms having a balcony, en-suite, TV, CD clock radio, telephone, Broadband connection, WiFi and a hair drier. Breakfasts are traditional buffet style meals (with a daily hot option in the winter) Also in the winter we serve a substantial 5 course evening meal. Tea & coffee is available throughout the day, with afternoon tea and cakes served from 4 until 5.30. New for winter 2007/8 is our hot tub on the rear patio(hopefully to be completed for this season)

Facilities

As previously mentioned, all rooms have a TV (most with satellite decoder). New for this winter are telephones in all rooms providing very cheap calls to the UK and allowing family & friends to call you directly in your room for the cost of just a UK landline call. The bar has its own Satellite TV and DVD player, whilst the TV/Games rooms has another DVD player, games console, table tennis, table football and darts. We also have a fitness room with a range of equipment available for guests to use and the new 5 person sauna. Our lounge features a wood burning stove and deliberately has no TV available, so guests can relax and talk with quiet background music. The bar has the option of loud music should guests be in that mood!! Our new hot tub is currently being planned and will (hopefully) be ready for this winter.

Location

Chalet Heidi is situated at the end of a quiet road, just 3 minutes walk from the village centre. From the village centre, a piste runs directly to the main gondolas into the main system. On return, a chair lifts guests back to the centre of Scheffau or there is a regular ski bus. Chalet Heidi is, therefore, almost doorstep skiing requiring a 3 minute walk each way.
