Very comfortable, charming and spacious chalet, furnished to a high standard in a traditional yet contemporary style. Stunning panoramic situation overlooking the Val d'Herens valley. Situation: ~600 m distance from Les Masses (shop, restaurant) and the Les Masses chair lift, linking to Thyon - Les Collons as well as 4 Valleés - Verbier. Ground floor - large entrance hall, bootroom with heaters for ski boots and large airing/hanging room. 1st floor - open plan Poggenpohl kitchen, oak dining room table and 8 chairs, fireplace, cosy sitting area with huge sofa with picture windows. BOSE surround sound and selection of DVDs/games. Oak flooring with underfloor heating. Master bedroom and bathroom. Separate WC. Access to patio and balcony. 2nd floor - 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin) with own bathrooms, gallery looking down on dining area, access to upper Balcony.

Distance to Les Collons ~3 km with shops, restaurants, pubs, ski rental shop, ski school, bank, post office. Indoor swimming pool and kindergarden (from 18 months on) at Thyon 2000, ~8 km. 18 km from the regional capital Sion. The village of Hérémence is ~5 minutes away by car, which also has restaurants/ bars, bank, supermarket and post office. The small village of Vex has an excellent Charcuterie and similar facilities and a pharmacy which is ~10 mins away by car.

Thyon 2000/Les Collons/Les Masses

You'll have a hard time finding a better place to enjoy winter sports than Thyon-Region having great snow from December to April it is a skiers and boarders dream. The Val d'Herens is located in the heart of the Valais alps at the end of the four valleys system one of the largest ski regions in Europe. The area has over 400 kms of pistes and 100 ski lifts that seamlessly link - Thyon, Veysonnaz, Nedaz and Verbier.

There really is something for everyone, Thyon 2000 has wide open sunny slopes for beginners and more challenging slopes for the intermediate and advance, including large areas of off piste the Billabong board park and nursery slopes for the little ones.

The Thyon region offers better value for money and is less crowded than it's better know neighbour Verbier. If you are looking for a true taste of traditional Switzerland this is the area to visit just relax and enjoy the fabulous views over the untouched alpine paradise.

Summer - Sion the oldest town in Switzerland to the high mountain peaks of the Alps. The heart of the Valais really does offer something for everyone from sun drenched vineyards to snow capped mountains with pure air where the sun reigns supreme for more than 300 days a year.

The region offers a wide range of sporting activities with mile upon mile of marked paths for walking, hiking and mountain biking. There are also quad bikes, horse riding, nature reserves, glaciers, lakes and the Dix dam that you can see from the chalet. If all that is too exhausting just sit back and enjoy the sunshine, local cuisine, thermal baths, history, culture and shopping.
